big chop photos- march 2010

My plan was to transition from Nov 2009 to Nov 2010.  It’s March 13, 2010. Clearly I was not gifted with patience.  Here are some photos of my big chop!  I decided to have 2 friends cut my hair because I wanted to be super comfortable in my surrounding and I wanted this to be a loving experience.  Some folks may think I’m crazy for not going to a professional, but my emotional state was much more important to me and I had watched enough video tutorials and read enough stories of women who cut THEIR OWN hair that I was 100% confident my friends could do this.  And I was right.  They did an excellent job.
